About Us

The Community of Christ Peace Support Network is a touchstone and spring board for the Christian experience as it relates to the spirituality of peacemaking.

It is a touchstone in that it provides an opportunity for members, friends of the church, and others to connect their beliefs, attitudes, and actions to the motivation and source of the work— creating the awareness of why we are engaged in the work. It is a spring board as it offers the opportunity to express in tangible ways the essence and purpose of the church's ministry at the grassroots level— sharing what to do in order to create a more just and peaceful world.

The continual "touch and go" interaction of the support network allows people to reconnect and reenergize while at the same time share their expertise and experiences in the adventure of peacemaking. This continual cycle of giving and receiving allows individuals to prepare for mission while doing mission, learning as they go.

Responsive to the prophetic spirit, the support network promotes peacemaking which is philosophically, theologically, and contextually sound.



The following templates have been created to assist you in Sharing Peace!  They are ready-to-use with Avery business cards and can be printed out on your home computer. (Avery cards available at office supply stores.)

The Peace Support Network is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit corporation. Donations are needed, tax-deductible (according to national law) and are gratefully accepted. Donations release the promise of faith and the strength of action.
